The shop at AIM Tech in Kenya is nearly empty. Over the last few weeks a crew has been cutting up and clearing out all of stuff from inside the shop to be sold for scrap and that process is now nearly complete. Now the walls will come tumbling down to prepare for the new.
We are not sure what the “new” will consist of. We have not heard what the future plans are for AIM – Tech, but whatever it is it will be essentially a new beginning. Not only will all the stuff be new but the people will also be new. Jim and Laura Propst who have been at AIM – Tech for nearly 20 years are leaving this year and two new couples are coming this year. The only remaining “history” is the houses on the compound and James Holt, the supervisor, and James has only been there a little over 5 years. Of course all of the memories remain along with many of the projects that AIM Tech has built.
It is hard for us to look at these pictures and remember what was lost, but it was only stuff, which can be replaced. We look forward to see how God will use this ministry in the future. We are grateful that most of our stuff was replaced through the generous donations of friends and family. Thank you.
We do not know what the future of AIM – Tech will look like, but God does and we are confident that He is in control. We pray that He will be glorified in whatever happens.
If you think about it please pray for the ministry of AIM Tech.
